Designing, planting and quietly keeping gardens
Most of our work follows a simple arc: we design a garden, we plant and build it, and — if you’d like us to — we stay on to care for it. You can join us anywhere along that arc, from a single afternoon’s advice to a garden made whole from scratch.
Garden design
Every project begins with a slow walk and a long conversation. From there we draw up a concept, a layout and a full planting plan — documents clear enough to build from, and lovely enough to keep.

Planting & build
We work with a small circle of Shropshire makers — dry-stone wallers, joiners, nurseries — and lead every planting day ourselves, so what goes in the ground matches what was on the page.

Seasonal care
Gardens are never finished — that’s the point. Our care visits keep a garden developing as intended: editing, dividing, staking and feeding with a designer’s eye rather than a strimmer’s haste.
- Scheduled visits in spring, summer and autumn
- Pruning, dividing and border editing
- Bulb planting and succession planning
- A short written note after every visit
